- I agree with the NFS option. But for now With NT I am using ftp between
- the amiga and NT machine. NT has TCP/IP protocols built in. You just need
- the same for the MAC and the Amiga. Then some creative people to write
- some batch files for transfering large amounts of files over Ethernet. Go
- with as fast as you can on Ethernet because average Video images
- uncompressed are about a Meg. When I am not rendering in the background
- standard 1.2Meg targas transfer to my PAR on my AMIGA at 3.5 seconds each.

- For scene files from an amiga a PC disk is the best since even when I get
- all the files over to a PC directory LW still looks for them under the old
- directory names. For scenes that I will render on other computers, I save
- things to a removable PC disk in the FAT files system and then just load
- in the scene from there. Works good to keep the old scenes and objects
- together and in the SAFE for fire safety concerns.
-
- BUT ONE THING IS FOR SURE THERE IS NO EASY WAY FOR MULTIPLATFORM
- NETWORKING. There are always problems. You just have to find something
- that works and stick with that system. If you have computer hacks who love
- to diddle with these sorts of problems you should have them set it up and
- get it working.
